The first is to do all we can to make our cabinetry as durable as possible. If a kitchen can stand up to years of use and continue to do its job (and still look great), then it is far less likely to need replacing.
We tested hinges, runners and general hardware to ensure we’re only using the best quality, most hardwearing components. We use a sturdy 19mm material for our carcasses (unlike the 15mm used by a lot of companies), and we make these with a thick, robust edge to reduce wear over years of use. Put simply, we don’t do flimsiness.
