Designed to last. Freedom to refresh.

Designed to last. Freedom to refresh.

Style changes as we do. Your kitchen should be able to evolve with you. The Joyn Refinishing Token challenges the idea that a new look requires a new kitchen, letting you rethink colour and finish without replacing what was built to last.

Replacement has become standard. We think it’s time for something better.

Replacement has become standard. We think it’s time for something better.

For years, changing the look of a kitchen has meant replacing the entire structure. Even when the cabinetry is still perfectly sound, starting again is often treated as the only real option.

Joyn’s Refinishing Token was created to change that.

We design our kitchens so you don’t have to replace everything just to change the look. Whether your taste evolves or the finish shows signs of daily life, the visible external surfaces can be refreshed while the cabinetry, carefully made to endure daily use, remains in place. The result is a renewed space, without the disruption of starting from scratch.

Better design also makes financial sense. The Token typically costs around 10% of your original joinery investment, and when you choose to refinish later, it can reduce the cost of updating your kitchen by around 60%. Just as importantly, it avoids the environmental impact of removing and remanufacturing cabinetry that still has years of life left in it.

Refresh the look.

How the Joyn
Refinishing
Token works

How the Joyn
Refinishing
Token works

The Joyn Refinishing Token focuses on the parts of your kitchen you see and touch every day. Doors, drawer fronts and panels are removed, refinished and reinstalled by our specialist team. The main cabinetry remains exactly where it is, preserving the structure that was carefully made while renewing the visible finish in a considered and sustainable way.

How your kitchen is refinished depends on the material. A painted kitchen can be transformed in a completely new colour. Timber can be refreshed in a matching or deeper tone. Stainless steel surfaces can be professionally restored to revive their original finish. The process is designed to restore what already exists rather than alter the layout or introduce new cabinetry.

The Joyn Refinishing Token can be used within seven years of the original delivery date and stays with the kitchen itself. If the property is sold, the benefit remains in place for the next homeowner.
